It's hard to believe that we are beginning the summer term but there are lots of lovely things happening so it will be fun. Just before we broke up for Easter we had our Be Spirited Week which was a wonderful opportunity for the children to get to know God better. During our time visiting the prayer stations, the children showed great reverence and took time to engage fully with the activities.
In class the children produced a wonderful power point of the Stations of the Cross which we used in class for a quiet meditation and was also used during our end of term Mass.
The end of term cross country was fun and the children really tried hard to complete the race in the fastest possible time. Well done to all of them for completing the course.
Next week we will be visiting Verulamium Museum as part of our Romans topic and walking to the hypocaust to investigate how the Romans heated their houses and baths.
We are now starting to learn our songs for the Year3/4 production so we will be very busy with rehearsals and our swimming lessons will start on Wednesday 3rd May. We would appreciate parent helpers each week to walk to and from the pool in Harpenden. If you are able to help, please let us know. Many thanks.
