Wheelbarrow Workshop!

3L had a very exciting start to their Thursday with a visit from the Mrs Wheelbarrows!

After learning about the plants we grow to eat they were able to plant their own. To begin with the children worked in groups to plant a range of seeds from salad and beans to potatoes and mustard. Everyone also made their own plant pot using newspaper to plant peas.  These clever pots are also bio-degradable so can be planted straight into the ground when the plants start to grow!

We all enjoyed discovering our green fingers!

Our Rainforests!

This week 3L have finished off our Rainforests in Art and we are very proud of our Rousseau-inspired work!
If you look carefully you will see how we have developed our colour-mixing skills and our drawing skills.

Doctors and Physiotherapists of the Future?

In Science this week we have been finding out how our bones and muscles work together in our joints to help us move.  We even built our own joints!

Nature Documentary Presenters!

Today 3L put their filming and presenting skills into practise again when they filmed their close encounter with a rainforest animal.  They also began to edit their productions.
